The Amphony Model 1500 wireless audio transmitter will give you the freedom of sending your music wireless without breaking through walls or a big cabling project. Connecting your active speakers or your subwoofer wireless without running long speaker cables or stream music from your computer to a remote amplifier.
The wireless transmitter will send the music at 5.8 GHz up to 200 feet. You will enjoy better than CD quality with uncompressed digital wireless audio. The receiver can connect to active speakers, an external amplifier or any audio equipment of your home that has a standard audio input. Both the transmitter and receiver utilize advanced 24-bit audio converters and achieve a 100 dB dynamic range.
The wireless receiver measures only 5 x 3.5 x 2 inches and can be hidden virtually anywhere and is also easily mountable to a speaker.

This wireless unit is a great solution for my media space. For the first time I am hearing surround sound with my Home Theater.

br /My only choices were to run wires across a walk space or go with a quality wireless unit and separate amplifier. This solution was set and forget. I literally plugged in the power and audio cables, adjusted the volume and was watching my programs in surround sound in under a minute.

br /The only hassle is that everything on that side of the room is on a separate power strip that I need to remember to turn it off. If I don't remember then the unit uses very little power and makes no noise - so I find this acceptable.
